Grandfather Presents: David Sibley

David Allen Sibley is the author and illustrator of the series of successful guides to nature that bear his name, including the New York Times bestseller “The Sibley Guide to Birds.” He has contributed art and articles to Smithsonian, Science, The Wilson Journal of Ornithology, Birding, BirdWatching and North American Birds, and wrote and illustrated a syndicated column for The New York Times.

Tickets go on sale June 30. VIP tickets include a reception with the guest speaker before the program where heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and all-day admission to the park. Both VIP and regular tickets include a meet-and-greet session after the program.

This event is part of the Grandfather Presents speaker series. The series consists of Thursday night events with internationally and nationally known presenters focused on conservation, nature and outdoor adventure. Saturday afternoon presenters focus on conservation issues and initiatives on a local or regional scale. All events take place at the Wilson Center for Nature Discovery.
