Lake Street Dive and opening act The 502s play a concert under the stars at Beech Mountain Resort.
Lake Street Dive is a popular live band known for building a potent connection with every crowd. The five-piece band’s eclectic sound is a bold cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop and more. The band’s latest album, “Good Together,” pushes the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, while being born from a mindset the band refers to as “joyful rebellion.”
The 502s are a Florida-based indie folk band known for high-energy, feel-good music and lively shows. They refer to themselves as “the happiest band on earth,” and are known for infectious choruses and an interesting blend of instruments.
The 502s are scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m., followed by Lake Street Dive at 8:30 p.m.
Earlier in the day, eight live shows will be spread across two smaller venues at Beech Mountain Resort. Those artists are: The Wilder Blue, Jon Stickley Trio, The Wildmans, If Birds Could Fly, Goldpine, Taylor Winchester, David LaMotte and Adam Bolt.
