Nicoll is country singer-songwriter who grew up in the Raleigh area of North Carolina and now lives just over the mountain from Banner Elk in Johnson City, Tennessee. Drawing inspiration from artists like Tyler Childers, Gregory Alan Isakov and Noah Gundersen, Alexander describes his sound as a blend of country, folk, and indie music.
