Fireworks Atop Sugar Mountain

Take a chairlift ride to the summit of Sugar Mountain for a mountaintop fireworks extravaganza, or watch from the ski resort’s base lodge.
The fireworks show from Sugar Mountain’s 5,300-foot peak begins around 9 p.m. To watch from the summit, purchase a one-time round-trip lift ticket for $22 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to take the Summit Express chairlift to the top of the mountain.
For those who prefer to enjoy the festivities from ground level, the ski lodge will have live music from Toe River Bandits from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., along with food and beverages. Beverages are also available at the summit.
