Grandfather Presents: T. Edward Nickens

For more than three decades, T. Edward Nickens has reported on conservation, the outdoors and Southern culture for some of the world’s most respected publications. He is Our State magazine’s “Ramblin’ Man” columnist, editor-at-large and columnist for Field & Stream, contributing editor for Garden & Gun and Ducks Unlimited magazines, and editor-in-chief of Tail, the saltwater fly-fishing magazine. His work has appeared in Smithsonian, National Geographic Adventure, Men’s Journal and many others. Nickens’ presentation — hosted in part with Our State magazine — will be “If a Brook Trout Could Talk: What it might say about passenger pigeons, climate change, hope, the future, and most importantly, fly-fishing.”

This event is part of the Grandfather Presents speaker series. The series consists of Thursday night events with internationally and nationally known presenters focused on conservation, nature and outdoor adventure.
