Reindeer Run 5K

Kick off the Saturday morning of Banner Elk’s “A Small Town Christmas weekend” with the Reindeer Run 5K.
Dress in holiday gear and bring the whole family for this festive run that welcomes everyone. Participants may run, jog or walk the course.
This annual event begins at Tate-Evans Park and is presented by the Williams YMCA of Avery County.
Regular registration is $25 for adults, $15 for youths age 6-11, and free for children 5 and under. Regular registration closes Nov. 16.
Late registration begins Nov. 17 and is $35 for adults, $25 for youths age 6-11, and remains free for children 5 and under.
