Village Summer Concert Series: Saving Shirley

Enjoy an outdoor concert by Saving Shirley in the heart of town during the Village of Banner Elk 2025 Summer Concert Series.

Saving Shirley performs a positive, high energy and exciting blend of 2000’s hits, reimagined classics and original songs. This Spruce Pine-based act was born in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, when a group of friends and like-minded musicians decided to form a band that captured the soul of the early 2000’s rock era.

A typical setlist includes the likes of Green Day, Kings of Leon, Offspring, Blink 182, New Radicals, The Killers, Eminem and Walk the Moon, while also pulling from icons like R.E.M., Prince, Violent Femmes and Michael Jackson.

The free concert takes place on the outdoor stage between Sorrento’s Italian Bistro and Bayou Smokehouse.
