Village Summer Concert Series: The Mood Kings

Enjoy an outdoor concert by The Mood Kings in the heart of Banner Elk during the 2025 Village Summer Concert Series.

The Mood Kings are a Boone-based Americana band with an electrifying sound that gives a contemporary edge to roots rock. A typical show features classic rock and pop covers from the ’70s to the ’90s, as well as original songs.

The group has recently gained national attention with their chart-climbing re-imagination of the Bruce Springsteen classic, “Dancing in the Dark.” (see official video below)

The free concert takes place on the outdoor stage between Sorrento’s Italian Bistro and Bayou Smokehouse.
