New this year as part of A Small Town Christmas weekend, Banner Elk offers Saturday evening carriage rides in downtown.
These horse-drawn carriage rides take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and depart from the Historic Banner Elk School.
Bundle up under a blanket and enjoy the clip-clop sounds of the horses’ feet as you ride through the lights and festive atmosphere of the holiday season in Banner Elk.
The rides will be provided by Carolina Horse & Carriage and they are available free of charge.
